How to Archive a Category
If you've created a category that you no longer wish to use, archiving it is a simple and effective way to keep your budget organized without losing any historical data.
When you choose to archive a category, it will no longer appear in your budget or overview moving forward. However, don't worry! Archiving a category does not affect any previously assigned transactions. Your historical data will remain intact unless you decide to re-categorize past transactions..
How to Archive a Category
To archive a category, simply follow these steps:
Log in to your Billroo account.
Navigate to the Budget page.
Select the category you wish to archive. (On the app, click the category; on the website, click the checkbox next to the category.)
Click on the 'Archive' option.
And that's it! Your category is now archived and will no longer clutter your budget overview.
