How to Use the Search Functionality in Billroo

Billroo’s search functionality allows you to quickly locate specific transactions using descriptions and tags. This feature is especially useful when organizing expenses or preparing for tax returns.

1. Edit Transaction Descriptions:

   • You can modify the description of each transaction to make it more identifiable.

   • Example: Change "Purchase" to "Office Supplies - Printer Ink."

2. Use Tags for Easy Filtering:

   • Add relevant tags to transactions (e.g., #groceries, #business, #tax-deductible).

   • Later, search for transactions by tag to quickly find all related expenses.

3. Search by Keywords:

   • Use the search bar to find transactions by keywords from descriptions or tags.

   • Example: Searching "Office Supplies" will display all transactions with that phrase.

4. Future Updates:

   • We are developing an export transactions feature for added convenience.
