Budget and Expense Summary Discrepancy

If you’ve noticed a discrepancy between the budget you’ve set and the expense summary displayed in the overview tab, this is likely caused by the date range selected in the overview tab.

For instance, if you’ve set a monthly budget (e.g., $1200 for groceries) but selected a custom date range (e.g., January 14 to February 14), the overview tab calculates a prorated value based on the selected date range. This can lead to amounts like $1225.67, which may appear inconsistent with your set budget.

We understand how this might be confusing and are actively working on improving the calculation logic for date ranges and budgets. Our goal is to make the summary more intuitive and consistent across all views.
