when trying to connect their Macquarie Bank account through Billroo.
This message appears because Macquarie’s secure banking page requires the most up-to-date browser to complete the Open Banking connection.
🧰 How to Fix It
Option 1 – Use a Desktop or Laptop
Open Billroo Web App on your laptop or desktop computer.
Go to Connections → Add Bank → Macquarie Bank.
Complete the connection steps in your browser.
The connection process may not work properly on older mobile browsers.
Option 2 – Update Your Mobile Browser
If you prefer to connect on your phone:
Update your browser to the latest version.
On iPhone → Update Safari or use the Chrome app.
On Android → Update Chrome or your default browser.
Return to the Billroo app and try connecting again.
Option 3 – Try a Different Browser
If the issue persists, try connecting using:
Google Chrome
Safari
Microsoft Edge (latest version)
