Changing Categories for Multiple Transactions at Once
When you manually recategorize a transaction, Billroo will automatically identify similar transactions and prompt you to change their categories as well. You have the flexibility to choose which transactions to update; it’s entirely up to you whether to change any, all, or none of them. This handy feature is available on both the mobile app and desktop versions of Billroo.
Changing Multiple Transactions
If you want to change the category of multiple transactions that Billroo hasn't prompted you about, we recommend logging into Billroo on a computer for the best experience. Here’s how you can do it:
Use the search bar to find transactions from specific retailers or utilize the filters to display specific categories or tags that you want to see.
After locating the transactions you want to change, select them by clicking on the checkbox next to each transaction, or use the top checkbox to Select All.
Once you have selected the transactions, look for the small three dots located to the right of the "Amount" column.
Click on the three dots to open a menu where you can edit the category for all the selected transactions at once.
Important Note
Please note that this will only apply to the 50 transactions displayed on the page. If you have more transactions to change, simply repeat the procedure on the following pages.
