Unsync Bank Account

Edited

You can stop synchonizing transactions from your bank at any time.

Note: If you want to stop synchronizing a specific bank account, you'll need to disconnect that bank from your Billroo account, and then reconnect the bank, selecting only the accounts you wish to continue syncing.

How to Stop Syncing Your Bank Account

On the Mobile App:

  1. Select Profile.

  2. Select Manage Bank Accounts.

  3. Click on the three small dots next to the bank name and select Stop Sync.

On the Website:

  1. Click on the Transactions tab.

  2. Click on Import or Add Transactions.

  3. Click on Bank Connections.

  4. Click on Stop syncing next to the bank.

What This Does:

  • Stops that specific account from automatically syncing new transactions. No new transactions will be imported from that account

  • Revokes Billroo's access to that bank account

  • Any other connected banks will continue syncing normally

Transactions that Have Already Synched to Billroo

All past transactions that have been synchronized will still be available in Billroo. If you wish to remove historical transactions or transactions from a specific bank account, you will need to delete them manually. You can find information on how to delete transactions here.

Re-adding Your Bank Account

After disconnecting your bank from your Billroo account, you can setup your bank synchronization again by following the process here. Make sure you only select the accounts that you would like to synchronize going forward. It's good to know that when you reconnect a previously synchronised account it will not duplicate transactions that have already been imported.
